Target, Food Lion, & more: Check here for SC Lowcountry stores open, closed on July 4th

The Fourth of July is here, and so are holiday closures.

Most grocery stores will be open, but some have reduced hours. Whether you forgot the hamburger buns or want to stock up on drinks, here are the grocery stores open on Independence Day:

Publix

• Open during regular operating hours.
• Hours: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

These Publix locations close at 9 p.m.:

• New River Crossing
• Bluffton Commons
• Festival Centre at Indigo Park
• New River Crossing

Walmart

• Open during regular operating hours.
• Hours: 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Target

• Open during regular operating hours.
• Hours: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

ALDI

• ALDI locations in Bluffton and Beaufort will be open but with reduced hours.
• Hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Food Lion

• Open during regular operating hours.
• Hours: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• The Food Lion at 10 Sams Point Road, Beaufort closes at 11 p.m.

Kroger

• Open during regular operating hours.
• Hours: 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Harris Teeter

• Open during regular operating hours.
• Hours: 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.
• The Harris Teeter at 33 Office Park Rd, Hilton Head Island closes at 10 p.m.

The Fresh Market

• Open during regular operating hours.
• Hours: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Piggly Wiggly

• Hilton Head Island’s Piggly Wiggly will open from 7:45 to 8 p.m.
• Port Royal’s Piggly Wiggly is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

What’s not open?

USPS post offices will be closed on the Fourth of July. The USPS won’t deliver mail Saturday either. Banks will be closed as well, but online services and ATMs will continue to operate. DMV locations will be closed, although online services remain available.

Beaufort County’s recycling and trash drop-off convenience centers will be closed. Town of Hilton Head offices will close on Friday, July 3 and reopen on Monday, July 6.
