Beaufort County restaurants & bars hosting World Cup watch parties for the big US game Wednesday
The FIFA World Cup is here and the U.S. Men’s National Team qualified for the round of 32.
The U.S. will play Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday at 8 p.m. And if you’re looking for somewhere to watch the game alongside fellow fans, there are plenty of Lowcountry bars and restaurants who have announced watch parties for Wednesday’s game.
Here are spots where you can watch the USMNT play this Wednesday:
Hilton Head
Slowcountry BBQ
- Slowcountry’s watch party starts at 8 p.m. and will have a “massive” projector screen to watch the game on, according to a post on its Facebook page. It will have food discounts during the watch party and for every goal scored by Team U.S.A., some beers will be discounted to $1.
Big Bamboo Café
- The café at Coligny Beach’s watch party will have game day cocktails and discounts on beer.
Reilley’s Grill and Bar
- Reilley’s will show Wednesday’s match and further games if the U.S. advances past the round of 32. Local artist Tommy Sims is scheduled to perform live music Wednesday night.
The Smokehouse
- The Smokehouse will show every match of the World Cup, according to its website. The restaurant has “giant TVs” to watch the game on.
Frosty Frog
- Frosty Frog has held watch parties for previous Team U.S.A. matches, but has not announced one for Wednesday. Check their Facebook page for a watch party announcement.
Bluffton
Hail Mary’s
- The sport’s bar’s watch party begins at 8 p.m. Wednesday. The bar and kitchen will stay open late for the event.
Tio’s Latin American Kitchen
- Tio’s watch party starts at 8 p.m. and will have a giveaway. The restaurant will give away a bottle of Don Julio World Cup limited edition tequila to one customer. Customers can enter by ordering a shot of the limited edition tequila.
Bonez Bar and Grill
- Bonez’s watch party begins at 8 p.m. Customers wearing red, white and blue get a 15% discount on their tab during the game.
Beaufort and Port Royal
Bricks on Boundary
- Bricks will show all World Cup matches including Team U.S.A.’s match Wednesday.
