Darius Rucker tourney brings top women’s collegiate golfers to Hilton Head. How to watch

The top women’s collegiate golf tournament in the country begins Monday on Hilton Head.

The Darius Rucker Intercollegiate, which will be televised life on the Golf Channel, is held annually at the Long Cove Club. It brings 17 of the top women’s collegiate teams from across the country to Hilton Head for three days of competition.

The tournament, which started in 2012, made its Golf Channel debut in 2022. It remains the only all-women’s regular season collegiate golf event televised live.

It’s named after South Carolina native Rucker, the legendary Hootie and the Blowfish frontman who later became a solo country artist.

The battle between the best golf teams in the country will play out on the Pete Dye-designed course featuring century-old live oak trees, stately Carolina pines and stunning saltwater marshes.

The tournament comes about a month before the start another Hilton Head tradition, the RBC Heritage, which is April 13-19 at Harbour Town Golf Links at Sea Pines Resort.
