Drivers should be prepared for minor traffic delays due to shoulder and lane closures on Alljoy Road this week in Bluffton, the South Carolina Department of Transportation says.

The SCDOT said the closures are related to work by Sandhill ALS Construction on the Alljoy Road sidewalk project.

As part of the work, daytime shoulder and lane closures along Alljoy Road, between Burnt Church Road and Mullet Street, are expected between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. beginning Monday and continuing through Friday, the SCDOT said.

During this time, motorists should expect minor delays in traffic. Drivers are also asked to be mindful of a traffic control team and the crews working in the area.
