From family-friendly trick-or-treating to late-night costume parties, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this weekend across the Hilton Head area.

No matter if you’re looking to win for the best costume or just looking for some friendly fun, here’s a roundup of events and celebrations taking place this weekend:

Events on Thursday, Oct. 30:

Coligny Plaza Annual Halloween Celebration

  • Location: 1 N Forest Beach Drive
  • Time: Trick-or-treating 4-7 p.m.; Costume Contest at 6 p.m. at Coligny Center Stage
  • Admission: Free entry

Kick off Halloween weekend at Coligny Plaza with an evening of trick-or-treating and the annual costume contest. Prizes include $100, $50, and $25 Coligny gift cards for the top three costumes.

Sing if You Dare at One Hot Mama’s Bluffton

  • Location: 104 Buckwalter Parkway, Suite 1A
  • Time: Costume contest starts at 10:30 p.m.
  • Admission: Free entry

Belt out your favorite hits at One Hot Mama’s in Bluffton. Compete in the Halloween costume contest for cash and prizes: Best Costume ($250 cash), Funniest ($100 gift card), and Scariest ($100 gift card).

Events on Friday, Oct. 31:

Spookalicious at The Sandbox

  • Location: 80 Nassau Street
  • Time: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Admission: Reservation required, tickets start at $6.

A morning of not-too-spooky fun for little ones! Enjoy pumpkin patch games, potion-making and a children’s costume contest at this family-friendly event.

Cool Cats Lounge Meowloween Celebration

Cool Cats Lounge is throwing Hilton Head’s ultimate Meowloween celebration. Enjoy chilling cocktails, lively tunes and costume contests throughout the night with $1,000 in cash and prizes.

Trunk or Treat & HalloWeekend Party at Nala’s Beach

  • Location: 14 Folly Field Road
  • Time: 4 to 6 p.m.
  • Admission: Free entry for Trunk or Treat; $10 cover for HalloWeekend Party

Gather the whole family - and your pups - for candy, games, a bounce house, and three costume contests: Kids ($250 cash), Dogs ($250 Nala’s gift card), and Best Trunk ($250 cash).

The HalloWeekend Party starts afterward from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Oct. 31 with a $1500 prize for best costume and a $500 prize for best costume on Nov. 1. There is a $10 cover fee for both nights.

Sing if You Dare at One Hot Mama’s Hilton Head

The karaoke party continues at One Hot Mama’s Hilton Head location with more costume prizes. Show off your best look and your best vocals for a shot at $250 cash or $100 gift certificates.

Haunted CarnEvil Halloween Party at The Rooftop at Poseidon

  • Location: 38 Shelter Cove Lane, Suite. 120
  • Time: 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
  • Admission: $5 cover | VIP Booths $250

Step right up for a “CarnEvil” night of thrills at Poseidon’s The Rooftop! Take one the dance floor and compete in the costume contest where prizes are $1,000 for first place, $500 for second, and $500 for best group. Ages 21+ with drink specials all night long.

Halloween at The Triangle

Hosted by Reilley’s Grill & Bar, Brother Shucker’s Hilton Head, Uncle Billy’s Burger Joint and more, take part in the costume contest with a $500 first-place prize. Folks can enjoy music and food all evening long.

Events on Saturday, Nov. 1:

Día de los Muertos at Tio’s Latin American Kitchen

Celebrate life and remembrance at Tio’s with family-friendly activities including cookie decorating, free sugar skull tattoos and performances of The Great American Kids Show by Rick Hubbard at 4 p.m. & 5:30 p.m. Kids can come in costume and enjoy a screening of “Coco” at sundown.
