Breeze Airways launches first international route to Cancún from this SC airport
Breeze Airways has announced its first international flight option in the Palmetto State, taking off from the Charleston International Airport.
Beginning Jan. 17, 2026, seasonal nonstop Saturday flights will launch from Charleston to Cancún, Mexico. This new destination marks Breeze’s inaugural international flight from Charleston and the first nonstop flight option to the Caribbean for CHS.
It’s also the third international route offered from CHS, joining seasonal service to Toronto via Air Canada and to Bermuda with BermudAir.
The once-weekly Saturday flights from Charleston to Cancún are now available for booking at flybreeze.com, with fares starting around $120.
The announcement comes on the heels of another development at Charleston International: the opening of South Carolina’s first permanent Global Entry Enrollment Center.
Now officially operational as of late Sept., the center lets Palmetto State residents complete their Global Entry interviews close to home, offering streamlined reentry to the U.S. for international travelers.
