This decade-old Bluffton restaurant just closed down. Here’s what we know
Chow Daddy’s in Bluffton has officially closed its doors after a decade in business.
Located at 15 Towne Drive within Belfair Towne Village, the local eatery offering burgers, tacos and bowls officially shuttered on Sept. 8, and the space will now be transformed into a new banking location, according to operating partner Fernando Lossada.
Before Chow Daddy’s opened this location in 2015, this space was home to roughly four other establishments that included All-American Bar and Grill, Plums Restaurant, Nathan’s Famous, and a Back Yard Burgers.
Lossado confirmed via email to The Island Packet that a national banking company contacted their team for the space in Belfair Towne Village earlier this year and that Chow Daddy’s is now actively searching for a new facility to host a second location.
While the establishment is set to host a new financial institution, full confirmation on the name of the company that will occupy the space and it’s opening timeline will be released within the next few weeks.
In the meantime, guests can still visit the Hilton Head Chow Daddy’s restaurant located in The Shops at Sea Pines at 71 Lighthouse Road, Suite 412. They are open daily from 5 to 8 p.m.
