After three-time Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce and superstar Taylor Swift announced their engagement on Instagram on Tuesday, it’s no surprise that many swept into action trying to decide where the couple might plan their special day.
From Rhode Island to Arrowhead Stadium, the pair has no shortage of locations to pick from.
But, if the power couple opt for a Lowcountry location offering natural beauty, romantic beaches and a Spanish moss-draped landscape, the Beaufort County area has a handful of venues to choose from.
Here are five local spots where Kelce and Swift could tie the knot and where other celebrities have said “I do.”
Montage Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton
Tucked between Hilton Head Island and Savannah, right along the May River, Montage Palmetto Bluff is known for its charm. Haig Point on Daufuskie Island

In 2021, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence married long-time girlfriend Marissa Mowry at Montage Palmetto Bluff.
In 2019, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin famously tied the knot also at Montage Palmetto Bluff.
Other celebrities, like Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, have also hosted weddings in the Lowcountry region, with Reynolds and Lively sealing the deal at Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens in Mt. Pleasant in 2012.
