Parlor Doughnuts to open first Beaufort County location soon. Here’s when and where
Parlor Doughnuts, a national craft doughnut and coffee chain, is bringing its signature layered treats to Beaufort County with a brand-new and highly anticipated location opening Aug. 9.
Located in Okatie Center at 201 Okatie Village Drive, Suite 1, the new shop will be the company’s first in Beaufort County and third in South Carolina.
Shop owners Lee and Amanda Hicks are franchisees for Parlor Doughnuts, with plans to continue expanding its footprint across the Lowcountry area.
Located in the newly constructed shopping center across from the Food Lion and adjacent to Sun City, the new shop will be the company’s third location in South Carolina, joining existing locations in Greenville and Pawleys Island.
The company has also announced plans for future stores in Johns Island, Summerville and Myrtle Beach as it continues its growth throughout the Palmetto State.
What do they offer?
Parlor Doughnuts is famed for its “layered doughnuts” — a twist on the classic pastry featuring layers of fried buttery dough.
With more than 20 rotating flavors, customers can find creative flavor options like maple bacon, bourbon caramel, raspberry pistachio and even mini doughnuts.
The menu also includes specialty coffee drinks, breakfast sandwiches, tacos and a selection of vegan, gluten-free and keto-friendly offerings.
More on the rise
Founded in 2019 in Evansville, Indiana, by father-son duo Darrick and Noah Hayden and restaurateur Josh Tudela, Parlor Doughnuts has quickly made a name for itself, with locations now sprinkled throughout the nation.
The chain boasts over 60 locations across 17 states.
