Taste of Beaufort is happening soon. Here’s your full guide to the SC festival

Food, fun and Lowcountry flavor are returning for the annual Taste of Beaufort festival on May 2 and 3. Beaufort’s Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park is set to bustle with the sounds of live music, the scent of sizzling Southern dishes and happy festival-goers.

This beloved annual festival is a celebration of Lowcountry culture, food and music, offering locals and visitors a chance to experience Beaufort’s rich culinary traditions in one scenic setting.

Admission to the festival is free, with food and beverage tickets priced at $1 each, providing a budget-friendly way to enjoy the best bites the region has to offer.

Here is a breakdown of what to expect each day of the festival:

Friday, May 2

Craft Market Vendors: 12-6 p.m.

Live Entertainment: 5-10 p.m.; Performers include Campfire Tyler, High 5 Band and Hotter than July.

Saturday, May 3

Kids Corner: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Live Entertainment: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Performers include Weekly Special, Broke Locals and Brewer Band.

Craft Market Vendors: 12-6 p.m.

Food vendors are available throughout the duration of the festival.

This year’s food lineup is a flavorful mix of seafood staples, smoky barbecue, sweet treats and global fare. Whether you’re craving poke bowls, raw oysters, kettle corn or handmade fudge, there’s something to satisfy every palate.

Public parking options are available throughout downtown Beaufort, with about 500 spots throughout the city.

Weekend Weather

According to the National Weather Service, this weekend is bringing sunshine and a few possible showers in the evening.

On Friday, it is set to be a warm 81 degrees Fahrenheit with a 20% chance of showers after 2 a.m.

Saturday brings morning sunshine with a high of 82 degrees Fahrenheit and a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms later in the afternoon.
