A new Starbucks has officially opened in Bluffton. Here’s where to find it
Bluffton residents can now enjoy a caramel macchiato, matcha, cold brews and all things in between at the new Starbucks along Buckwalter Parkway.
This new Starbucks is located at 379 Bleecker Street S., across from the Lowcountry Fresh Market and Cafe within the Washington Square Development.
Plans for this new standalone coffeehouse began back in 2023. Now, the 2,500 square-foot coffeehouse is ready to brew your favorite beverages.
Beyond great drinks and snacks, the new coffee shop has 28 parking spaces, indoor and outdoor seating and space for up to 12 cars in the drive-through.
This Starbucks is now the third standalone coffeehouse in Bluffton, but the sixth total when including the locations inside Target and both Kroger locations.
Due to the ongoing development in the Buckwalter area, this Starbucks location allows those in the area to get their afternoon pick-me-ups without having to drive to the other ends of the city. The only other nearby Starbucks locations are at May River Crossing, off of Okatie Highway and one location in front of Target, off of Fording Island Road.
The stretch of Buckwalter Parkway from Bluffton Parkway to Highway 278 has continued to be a hot spot for development growth.
Other recent projects include the affordable housing plan that began in 2023 and a new Culver’s set to break ground at Buckwalter Place Boulevard and Innovation Drive soon.
The grand opening celebration for this new Starbucks location is scheduled for 9 a.m. on April 9.
