Overnight repairs to begin on section of Bluffton Parkway. What to know

Starting tonight, road repairs on a section of Bluffton Parkway between Buck Island Road and Red Cedar Street will be underway. The repairs on the 1.5-mile section will take place overnight and into the early morning from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. daily for the next two weeks, according to Beaufort County.

Drivers should expect lane closures. road cones and signage during construction hours. The county encourages motorists to use extra caution when approaching the work zone. According to county spokesperson Hannah Nichols, these are routine repairs.

Last April, the same section of Bluffton Parkway was under repair by Beaufort County. Repairs were made from the section of Bluffton Parkway from Buck Island Road to Buckingham Landing Road in September.
