A new brewery is officially open on Hilton Head. Here’s where
Take a step back in time and experience a true tribute to Hilton Head’s early days at the island’s newest brewery, Local Legend Brewing Company.
Local Legend is celebrating the legendary people, places and stories that shaped Hilton Head’s unique atmosphere in the 1970s and 1980s. From the photos, memorabilia and decor scattered around the restaurant, there are hints of Hilton Head’s history in every corner.
But Local Legend Brewing Company is more than a brewery and a dose of nostalgia. It also offers a full-service restaurant, beer garden, games, events and more.
Stephen Streeter, an expert brewer from North Carolina and Colorado, is leading the brewery side of Local Legend and is working to create a selection of house-made brews that appeal to all palates.

Bombshell Blonde Lager
Great White Ale Wheat Beer
Murky Waters Lager: Munich Dunkel
Strawberry Rhubarb Sour

Inside the restaurant, guests can play classic arcade favorites like pinball, darts, billiards, ping pong, air hockey, shuffleboard and more.
Some of the food options range from shareable plates, vegetarian dishes, vegan options and creative takes on Lowcountry classics including:
Spinach and Shrimp Dip
Southern Popcorn
Pizza, sandwiches and tacos
Crab Cakes

Local Legend Brewing Company’s beer garden also includes outdoor seating, yard games and is dog-friendly.
Local Legend Brewing Company is also creating a custom t-shirt in partnership with local nonprofit, Pockets Full of Sunshine. All of these t-shirts are made by adults with disabilities and directly support the organization’s mission.
Local Legend Brewing Company is located at 1014 William Hilton Parkway, on the south end of the island, in the former vacant Grayco Hardware Store location.
Local Legend Brewing Company is open Sunday through Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to midnight.
