Sand, sun and seafood are key aspects of living on Hilton Head Island and the Seafood Festival is the perfect way to experience all three.

This year marks the 19th Seafood Festival and it will be a week full of dining, exploring and learning. The festival will be held from Feb. 17-23 with its host location at the Omni Oceanfront Resort. The main Seafood Festival will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 1-5 p.m. at Coastal Discovery Museum, 70 Honey Horn Drive, Hilton Head. Tickets are $20 per person for entry to the festival on Saturday.

This festival is the perfect way to blend fine dining with the charm of life in the Lowcountry. Here is a rundown of the different events and activities that will take you beyond the plate in this year’s festival.

Drinks & Dining

Asado by the Sea: Wednesday, Feb. 19, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Beach House Hilton Head Island.

Enjoy Southern seafood and have an unforgettable dining experience with this event.

Zero Forks Given: Thursday, Feb. 20, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort.

This event includes all the food and drinks you can manage plus a commemorative festival glass.

Pig Pickin’ & Oyster Roast: Friday, Feb. 21, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Coastal Discovery Museum.

This event also includes all the food and drinks you can manage plus a commemorative festival glass.

Saturday Tasting Tent: Saturday, Feb. 22, 1-5 p.m. at Coastal Discovery Museum.

Try over 20 different tastings of Wine, Spirits, Beers and more. This event also includes a souvenir glass for guests.

Hogfish After Party: Saturday, Feb. 22, 4 p.m. until closing at Lincoln & South Brewing Company.

Perfect for families, this event includes live music, exciting food and fun activities.

Kegs + Eggs: Sunday, Feb. 23, 10 a.m. to noon. at Lincoln & South Brewing Company.

To close out the week, enjoy a southern-style breakfast with your favorite brew.

Classes

Secrets of the Craft with Brewer John: Wednesday, Feb. 19, 4-5:30 p.m. at Lincoln & South Brewing Company.

At this hybrid tasting and learning experience, you can try craft beers and learn about the different kinds of brews.

Knives Out: Knife Skills Master Class: Friday, Feb 21, 2025, 10:30-11:30 AM at Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort.

Learn how to properly use your kitchen utensils, elevate your culinary expertise and refine your precision with this captivating knife skills seminar.

Flute & Caviar Chronicles with Chef Olivier Geyer: Friday, Feb. 21, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort.

If you love a bubbly beverage, then this session will let you in on the secrets of finding top-tier champagnes at the grocery store or wine shop. They’ll teach you how to expand your palate and where to get the finest bubbles at any price point.

Eat Your Bourbon Masterclass with Matt Jamie: Friday, Feb. 21, 1-2 p.m. at Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort.

This immersive tasting experience is designed to ignite both your senses and curiosity, where you can learn the art of pairing soy sauce with an array of perfectly curated flavors.

Experiences

Lowcountry Experiences on the Water: Monday-Friday, Feb. 17-21 at Hudson’s Seafood House.

There are three tours daily departing from Hudson’s. These experiences include instruction on shrimping, oystering and crabbing in the Lowcountry.

Kids Camp: Exploring Our Waterways with Master Naturalists: Tuesday-Wednesday, Feb. 18-19, 9 a.m. to noon at the Rowing and Sailing Center.

This two-day kid-focused day camp allows your little ones to explore the natural ecosystem of the island and explore the area around them.

Launch & Brunch: Wednesday-Thursday, Feb. 19-20, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Rowing and Sailing Center.

Paddle through the beautiful area of Skull Creek and end the adventure with a Lowcountry boil lunch.

Family Fishing Night: Thursday, Feb 20, 4-6 p.m. at Hilton Head Island Rowing and Sailing Center.

Join expert Lowcountry fishermen and learn some top tips for fishing. This event is perfect for kids and families.

What is the Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival?

For 19 years, the Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival has brought together visitors and locals of the community to learn, indulge and share their favorite aspects of the Lowcountry all through plates full of delicious seafood.

This event is hosted with the David M. Carmines Memorial Foundation which was established by the Carmines family to serve and support the education and conservation efforts in the Hilton Head Island and Bluffton communities.
