Bring your own bucket and fill it with popcorn for $5 at these SC movie theaters. Here’s when
National Popcorn Day is right around the corner, on Sunday, Jan. 19.
In celebration of the iconic holiday, Cinemark Theatre locations are filling your bucket to the brim with their warm, buttery and binge-worthy popcorn for only $5.
This promotion is the first event for the franchise, with the iconic name “Bring Your Own Bucket” marking the event.
Visitors can bring any container to any Cinemark location on Jan. 19. Everyone is invited to participate, and no movie ticket is required.
What kind of bucket can I bring?
From Cinemark’s own collectible movie buckets, Tupperware, family snack bowl or your gardening bucket, you can bring any container that is clean and not exceeding 400 ounces (or 3 gallons) to participate in “Bring Your Own Bucket.”
Containers this size are equivalent to two extra-large popcorn bags from Cinemark.
This offer is valid for one bucket fill-up per person.
Examples of containers under 400 ounces
Halloween candy bucket
Sand bucket
Ice cream pail
Planter
Or anything that can double as a bucket
What if I don’t have a container?
If you don’t have a container to bring, Cinemark is offering $5 XL popcorn at all locations on National Popcorn Day.
