Then you’re in luck.
Here are five Christmas events perfect for you or the whole family to do this weekend throughout the Lowcountry.
Wreaths Across America
Help place Remembrance Wreaths on Veterans’ graves at the Beaufort National Cemetery this Saturday, 1601 Boundary St. This event is a great way to honor and teach about our nation’s Veterans. Wreaths will arrive at 11:30 a.m. with a brief ceremony to follow. You can even sponsor a Remembrance Wreath by visiting the Wreaths Across America website.
Port Royal Golf Cart Parade
Deck out your Golf Carts and get ready to celebrate with the town of Port Royal this Saturday, Dec. 14, for the annual Christmas Golf Cart Parade. Participants will have the chance to compete in a competition for “Best in Show.” The parade will begin at 6 p.m. at Helena Place, 1624 Paris Ave.
Star Stained Glass & Watercolor Christmas Cards
If you’re looking for something a bit more hands-on, try a Christmas star stained glass workshop or watercolor Christmas cards with Willow Works. You can learn to cut, solder and polish your own Christmas stars or learn to use watercolors to design your own holiday card. To get tickets for these workshops, visit the Willow Works website.
The beginner-friendly stained glass workshop is on Saturday from 1-5 p.m. and the watercolor cards are on Sunday, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., 900 Port Republic St.
Camelot Farms
Perfect for kids and adults, visit Camelot Farms Holiday Extravaganza on Saturday from 4-6 p.m. This event will include hay rides, face painting, pony rides, a Christmas market and even photos with Santa. This event is free to attend but tickets for activities are available to purchase when entering. Camelot Farms is located at 101 Tom and Mike Rd.
Beach Glass Christmas Trees
For another fun and festive creative activity, join Artistic Edge Art Studio this Sunday at 4 p.m. to make a Christmas tree from beach glass. You can even decorate it with little ornaments including starfish, seashells, bows and more. This class is designed to be beginner friendly and tickets can be found here. This event will be hosted at Shellring Ale Works, 1111 11 St.
