Hilton Head’s Shelter Cove Harbour and Marina just got a new addition. Here’s what
Hilton Head Island’s Top Dawg Tavern in Shelter Cove Harbour and Marina expanded to add a pizzeria last month.
Owners Renee and Brett Summers opened the pizzeria next to the water-front tavern in May after the tavern opened almost three years ago in July 2021. It is the first of the six Top Dawg Taverns across South Carolina and Georgia to add a pizzeria.
The restaurants are open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week, and Renee said they are especially excited to serve pizza and beer during the Shannon Tanner family shows. The shows are kid-friendly performances, highlighting Jimmy Buffett’s music. This year, they started May 25. The restaurants are adjacent to the pavilion where Tanner performs his shows with the Oyster Reefer Band.
“There’s normally huge audiences to watch,” Renee said. “Hopefully this will give them another venue to be able to get something to eat and drink while they’re watching the show.”
The menu features salads,cheesy garlic knots, sandwiches and seven different types of pizzas, plus an option to build your own. The pizzas range from $14 to $28.
