Looking for local events? There are 3 great festivals on Hilton Head to attend in March 2024
March is officially here, and with it comes the onset of the official spring season and three notable events on Hilton Head Island.
With the warming temperatures and changing seasons, events are beginning in full swing and will carry on throughout the remainder of the year.
This month, three festivals will be taking place on the island for guests and locals alike to attend.
Hilton Head Bold Beer & Cigar Festival
The Hilton Head Bold Beer & Cigar Festival will be held on Saturday in Shelter Cove Community Park from 3-6 p.m. The adults-only afternoon event will feature a selection of triples, high gravity, stouts, quads, sours and other seasonal beers in addition to live music, the aromas of premium cigars and tastes of the provided dishes from the event’s food vendors.
Taking place rain or shine, tickets for this event can be purchased online or at the festival.
Pricing begins at $34 for a beer only, “Jumbo Bold Beer Flight” package or $42 for a beer and cigar, two premium cigars and flight of bold beer, package. Additional beers and cigars can be purchased at the event.
Hilton Head Wingfest
Hilton Head Wingfest is back again this year on March 23 at the Lowcountry Celebration Park, located at 94 Pope Avenue adjacent to Coligny Plaza, from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The Saturday event will feature 20-25 local restaurants cooking their best wings and over 8,000 pounds of chicken wings. In addition, a kid’s zone, rock climbing wall, bungee jump, kid’s wing bobbing competition and adult wing eating contest will be featured.
Admission into the 27th annual Wingfest is priced at $10, with children aged under 11 admitted for free, with other items, such as food and beverages, priced separately.
Hilton Head Island Wine & Food Festival
The Hilton Head Island Wine & Food Festival is scheduled for March 24-30 this year. The 39th annual event brings guests and locals together for wine tastings, delicious food, live music, special events and more.
The aged 21 and over event showcases many of the world’s premier wines and the Lowcountry’s unique culinary scene.
