Trash pickup in Bluffton may run late after seven of Waste Management’s truck drivers got sick with the flu.

Waste Management, the town’s trash pickup vendor, will still cover all routes.

“If your waste/recycling services are not picked up on the designated day, please leave it out an extra day,”the Town of Bluffton said in a press release.

If trash isn’t picked up Friday, it should be by Saturday, according to Public Services Director for the town, Derrick Coaxum. By end of day Saturday the situation should be resolved, he added.
