Popular Hilton Head Christmas light show returning soon for a limited time. Here’s when

The holiday season is in full swing and festive events are right around the corner.

With December beginning in just a few days, holiday light shows are already beginning.

The “Holiday Nights and Lights” in Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park will return for its fourth year from 6-8 p.m on Dec. 2-4.

The free-to-attend, all-ages event will be located at Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park, which can be found at 40 Harriet Tubman Way on Hilton Head Island.

To avoid long waits, event organizers recommend that guests begin to line up on Beach City Road around 5:45 p.m. or at 7:30 p.m. Guests must remain in their vehicles throughout the duration of the light show.

Grab some hot cocoa for the road and be sure to listen to the festive, holiday music that you can tune into on your car’s radio.

“Keep an eye out for surprises that might seem a bit out of place in the park,” detailed event organizers.

Donations are welcome.
