Hilton Head Black Friday event will have a Santa flyover, bar crawl & chance to win $1,000

The Christmas holiday season will begin in full swing with the onset of Black Friday.

Hilton Head guests and residents will be able to head to the south end of the island to enjoy Coligny Plaza’s Black Friday event, which will feature exclusive deals from local shops in the area as well as a chance to win $1,000.

To win the lofty amount of prize money, attendees can enter their Coligny shopping or dining receipts at ColignyPlaza.com/Christmas. The winner of the drawing will be announced on Coligny Plaza’s Facebook account on Christmas Day.

In addition to the Black Friday specials, there will be live entertainment and Christmas events.

The Jevon Daly Kids Show will take place From 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Coligny Center Stage for a storytelling adventure for attending kid’s entertainment.

Guests should make a note to look overhead at 12:45 p.m. as Santa will be flying overhead in a helicopter as he does annually for the event.

Afterward, Santa will be available for pictures from 1-2:30 p.m. at Coligny Center Stage.

The last event is adult-centered with a Santa bar crawl. From 2:30-3:30 p.m. attendees will be able to join the “spread some Christmas ‘Cheer’ at various Coligny eateries.”
