These 16 liquor stores will be open on Thanksgiving in the Hilton Head & Beaufort areas
Are you needing to run a last-minute errand to fetch your holiday spirits?
Whether you need to entertain your guests with a pre-dinner cocktail hour or to supplement your NFL game day lucky drink, it can be difficult to find many stores open on Thanksgiving Day.
While state-run liquor stores remain closed on national holidays, many local establishments will still be open under holiday hours.
Here is a list of liquor stores in Beaufort County that will remain open on Thanksgiving.
Hilton Head Island
- Island Spirits & Fine Wines: 45 Pembroke Drive; will be open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
- Island Liquors & Wine: 70 Pope Avenue; will be open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
- Hilton Head Wine & Spirits: 50 Shelter Cove Lane; will be open from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
- Closures: All Rollers Wine & Spirits locations, Park Plaza Spirits & Fine Wines and Sea Pines Liquor Store will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Bluffton/Okatie areas
- Big Jim’s Liquors: 4376 Bluffton Parkway; this establishment will be open for an estimated time of 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., but will depend on customer demand the day of.
- Buckwalter Wine & Spirits: 103 Buckwalter Place Boulevard; will be open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
- Bill’s Liquors & Fine Wine: The Fording Island Road location, found at 1008 Fording Island Road, will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- A1 Liquors & Wines: 50 Burnt Church Road; will be open from 9:30 a.m. until 7 p.m.
- Low Country Liquors & Spirits: 32 Malphrus Road; will be open from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
- Herm’s Liquor: 103 Okatie Center Boulevard N; will be open from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
- Local Liquor: 149 Riverwalk Boulevard; will be open from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
- Cheers Liquors: 386 D Mark Cummings Road in Hardeeville; will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
- Closures: High Tide Liquors, Belfair Fine Wines & Spirits, Bill’s Liquor & Fine Wines at the May River Crossing location and Old Town Liquors will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Beaufort/Port Royal
- Bills Liquors & Fine Wine: Will be open from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
- Herm’s Liquor: 560 Parris Island Gateway; will be open from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.
- Frank’s Spirits and Wine: Both the Ribaut Road and Boundary Street locations will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
- Cheers Liquors: The Beaufort location, found at 11 Robert Smalls Parkway, will be open from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.
- Beverage Warehouse #2: 277 Sea Island Parkway suite 104; will be open from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
- Closures: Oxford Liquor ABC Package Store will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
