New Palmetto Bluff Farmers Market in SC begins this month. Here are the details
Have you ever wanted to find yourself under the live oak trees and Spanish moss in the private community of Palmetto Bluff, all while supporting local businesses?
Now this is an option you can explore on a monthly basis.
Palmetto Bluff has partnered with Lowcountry Made to present the inaugural Farmers Market, which is set to kick off on May 24.
The Palmetto Bluff Farmers Market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Farm in Palmetto Bluff on select Wednesdays.
The Farm is located within the neighborhood at 228 Old Moreland Road in Bluffton, and in addition to vendors and area farmers, the Palmetto Bluff farm will be contributing produce to the new farmers market.
Although Palmetto Bluff is a private community, members of the public are welcome to the new farmers market.
Since The Farm, the location for the new farmers market, is within Palmetto Bluff, visitors can inform the front gate that they are going to the farmers market to gain entry.
For those looking to apply to be a vendor at this new market, the Palmetto Bluff Farmers Market will not require a vendor fee because of Palmetto Bluff’s support of local farms and small businesses in the area.
If interested in contributing to Palmetto Bluff’s farmers market, prospective vendors may apply online at lcmade.com.
