Andrea Bocelli to perform at Enmarket Arena in December. Here’s how to get tickets.
Days before Christmas, renowned Italian operatic tenor Andrea Bocelli is set to perform for the first time in Savannah, bringing swells of holiday music.
On Dec. 16 at the Enmarket Arena, the “World’s Most Beloved Tenor” will feature performances from his album Believe, as well as a selection of arias, crossover hits, love songs and holiday season music.
General admission tickets for the event go on sale at Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. April 11.
Bocelli’s first taste of success came in 1994 when he won the newcomer category with “Il mare calmo della sera” at the Sanremo Festival, according to his website.
Since then, Bocelli has sold over 75 million albums worldwide, was made a Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic and has been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He’s recorded 15 solo studio albums of both pop and classical music, three greatest hits albums, and nine complete operas.
