This tree-lined path leads to the Prichard Pocket Park on the banks of the May River in Bluffton. Special to The Island Packet and Beaufort Gazette

Beaufort County isn’t the South’s best-kept secret — several years’ worth of Best Small Town and No. 1 island awards in national magazines have made that more than obvious. But in addition to our plentiful tourist attractions, famous restaurants and go-to vacation destinations, there are still some hidden gems in this corner of the Lowcountry.

We want to know what the best local spots are: the off-the-beaten-path sites, the quirky boutiques and the seafood that makes you a regular. And if anyone can tell us what those are, it’ll be the people who know Beaufort County the best: our readers.

Fill out the form above to tell us about your favorite places and things to do in Beaufort County that deserve more love. And let us know why they’re worthy — your responses could be featured in an upcoming Island Packet article.

The form is open until noon on March 24, so get your submissions in while you can!
