Check those Powerball tickets, Bluffton! Someone won $50,000 in Saturday’s drawing

A Powerball ticket sold in Bluffton for Saturday’s drawing is worth $50,000, according to a news release from the South Carolina Education Lottery.

The ticket was purchased at the Publix grocery store located at 101 Buckwalter Place Blvd. off Buckwalter Parkway.

The numbers drawn were 8 - 23 - 37 - 52 - 63, and the Powerball was 13. The odds of matching four white ball numbers and the red Powerball number for a $50,000 prize are 1 in 913,129.

More than to 13,000 players in South Carolina won prizes ranging from $4 up to $50,000.

Players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes. For more information, visit sceducationlottery.com.

The estimated jackpot for Monday night’s drawing is $90 million.
