One vehicle overturned in Sunday afternoon accident in Bluffton
Two vehicles collided in an accident on Simmonsville Road at the entrance of Pennington Drive in Bluffton at about 1:40 p.m. Sunday. The accident ended with one vehicle overturned.
The people involved in the accident did not appear to have any life-threatening injuries, said Captain Lee Levesque of Bluffton Fire and Rescue, although some minor injuries may have occurred.
As of 1:55 p.m., police and Emergency Management Services were at the site of the accident.
Officials hoped to have the accident site cleaned up with traffic moving again by 3 p.m., according to Levesque.
No other details were available as of about 2 p.m. Sunday, Levesque said.
