Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport is showing its thanks to active military service members this holiday season by offering them a chance for a free trip home.

Five different round trip tickets will be given away to current E1 through E6 service members on active duty. Service members can use their tickets to fly home to Savannah or fly from Savannah to wherever home might be.

The contest will end at 11:59 p.m., Nov. 26, and winners need to be able to get leave so that they can travel between Dec. 1, 2017, and Jan. 31, 2018.

A story of 300 words or more about why the service member should be chosen is required as part of entry. E1 through E6 service members can submit themselves for consideration or their families can enter on their behalf.

Those interested can find more information or submit their entries at savannahairport.com/holidays.
