Road repairs scheduled for Wexford Drive, Dunnagan’s Alley

The contractor for the town of Hilton Head will begin road repairs along the roundabout at Wexford Drive starting Sunday night, a town release said. The repairs will occur during the night and are expected to last through June 26.

The first phase of the project will close Dunnagan’s Alley for three nights. Access to Wexford Village via Dunnagan’s Alley will remain open, as will access to Wexford Plantation via William Hilton Parkway and Wexford Drive.

The project’s second phase will close Wexford Drive from William Hilton Parkway to the roundabout for about three nights. Wexford Plantation will be accessible through Dunnagan’s Alley.

There will be no access to William Hilton Parkway via Dunnagan’s Alley in either phase of the repair work.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area, the release said.
