Oakview Road closure scheduled for Monday

Oakview Road is scheduled to be closed to through traffic on Monday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to a release from the Hilton Head Public Service District.

The road will be closed at the intersection with Sterling Point Drive, but access to Sterling Point Drive will remain open through Oakview Road’s northern intersection with Spanish Wells Road.

The Hilton Head PSD will be installing sewer service as part of the town’s initiative to bring service to the northern and mid-island areas.

Drivers are asked to use caution in work zones, the release said.
