Hilton Head crosswalk maintenance scheduled for Monday

Temporary lane closures on Hilton Head Island are expected to occur Monday because of scheduled crosswalk maintenance, according to a town release.

The town’s contractor will be working on Arrow Road, Mathews Drive and Pembroke Drive. Workers will be present to help maintain the flow of traffic in both directions. Maintenance at each location will take about 30 minutes, and drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes.

Following are details of the scheduled work:

Arrow Road:

Maintenance work will be at the roundabout intersection with Dunnagan’s Alley.

Pembroke Drive:

Maintenance work will be at the roundabout intersection with Indigo Run Drive and Leg O’ Mutton Road.

Mathews Drive:

Maintenance work will be on the northern intersection between William Hilton Parkway and Beach City Road.
