World Affairs Council of Hilton Head speaker series to focus on impact of election

The upcoming World Affairs Council of Hilton Head evening speaker series will feature four experts who will focus their talks on the implications of the 2016 presidential election.

The series is open to the public and to WACHH members, according to a council news release.

Starting next month, the events will start at 5:15 p.m. on the last Tuesday of each month at the Country Club of Hilton Head, 70 Skull Creek Dr, Hilton Head Island.

The four-part series subscription fee of $80 includes hors d’oeuvres, coffee, soft drinks, and a cash wine bar, the release said.

The speakers are:

▪  Jan. 31: Maria Velez de Berliner, president of the Latin Intelligence Corporation

▪ Feb. 28: Vince Albanese, retired senior vice president of Fuel Tech Inc.

▪ March 28: James Roberts, retired U.S. Army Colonel

▪ April 25: Bill Pendley, retired U.S. Navy Admiral
