Harvard professor to speak at World Affairs Council of Hilton Head event
Harvard University professor Fredrik Logevall will give the lecture “The Uses and Abuses of History: American Presidents and the Past” at an upcoming meeting of the World Affairs Council of Hilton Head.
The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at the First Presbyterian Church, 540 William Hilton Parkway, Hilton Head Island, according to a council news release.
Logevall’s reviews and essays have appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, Politico, and Foreign Affairs, among other publications. In 2014, he served as president of the Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations. He is currently writing a biography of John F. Kennedy, the release said.
