You survived Hurricane Matthew. Come fly a kite with us.

The Island Packet, The Beaufort Gazette and IPBG Marketing will host Kite Day on Nov. 12 at Coligny Beach Park on Hilton Head Island.

The community is invited to gather from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the beach to fly kites to celebrate the area's willingness to join forces in response to Hurricane Matthew and its aftermath.
