Zion Cemetery cleanup Sunday on Hilton Head

The Heritage Library of Hilton Head Island is hosting a Zion Cemetery and Baynard Mausoleum cleanup party from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23.

Volunteers are sought to clean Hurricane Matthew debris from the site on William Hilton Parkway at Mathews Drive, across from Carrabba’s Italian Grill. Parking is at Darling Eye Center next to the cemetery.

Volunteers should bring chainsaws, wheelbarrows, loppers, clippers and gloves. Long pants, long sleeves and work boots are suggested. Water and bug spray will be provided.
