Bluffton begins new phase of Buck Island-Simmonsville sewer project
Construction is underway for the fourth phase of Buck Island-Simmonsville sewer project in Bluffton.
This phase will bring more than 30 homes sewer service and remove septic tanks from those homes, according to a town news release.
The project, which began in 2010, has connected more than 600 homes to the town’s sewer system.
The current phase is expected to be complete by next spring, the release said.
