Hospital, fire department to offer free CPR training

Hilton Head Hospital and Hilton Head Island Fire and Rescue will offer a free basic CPR training course from 9-10 a.m. on Friday, May 27, in the hospital’s boardroom, at 25 Hospital Center Blvd., Hilton Head, according to a news release.

The class is for those who want to learn CPR and do not require a provider card.

The course will cover adult and child CPR, a defibrillator demonstration and how to make an emergency call.
