Beaufort Memorial Keyserling Cancer Center adds radiation oncologist

Jonathan Briggs, a board-certified radiation oncologist with 16 years of experience in cancer care, has joined the Beaufort Memorial Keyserling Cancer Center, according to a news release.

Briggs comes to the area from Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, N.J., where he served as director for the center’s Department of Radiation Oncology.

His work has included a variety of research from T-cell lymphoma of the breast to the use of alternative and complementary medicine during radiation, and focuses on breast cancer, prostate cancer, skin cancer and lung cancer.
