Fitness center specializing in therapy for Parkinson’s, other conditions, opens in Port Royal

A new fitness center specializing in therapy for those with Parkinson’s disease and other debilitating conditions, has opened in Port Royal, according to a news release.

Second Wind Therapy and Wellness opened May 2, in the Bi-Lo Shopping Center, at 864 Parris Island Gateway, Suite F, Port Royal.

The facility specializes in fitness training and therapy for those with Parkinson’s disease, cancer, amputations and other movement challenges.

A grand opening and ribbon cutting event will be at 4 p.m. May 19. In addition, the facility will hold giveaways, demonstrations and free classes from May 19 through May 21.
