Micki Jones, a registered nurse with more than 20 years of experience in acute care and health management, has joined Bluffton’s Home Helpers Home Health as director of professional services.

Jones’ hiring coincided with an expansion of the in-home health care agency, at 14 Westbury Park Way, Suite 102, according to a news release.

Home Helpers Home Health serves all of Beaufort and Jasper counties and provides physical, occupational and speech therapy as well as medical social work services.

Jones supervises the nursing staff and oversees therapy services while assuring compliance of clinical services with federal, state and accreditation regulations.

The longtime Hilton Head Island resident worked as an RN case manager for Hospice Care of America on Hilton Head the past two and a half years.

In addition, she served as director of nursing with BrightStar and nursing and management posts at Hilton Head Hospital Women’s Center.
