Coastal Carolina Hospital to host free health screenings
Coastal Carolina Hospital will offer free screenings to those with difficulty swallowing, cognitive impairments or who may have a risk for falling, according to a news release.
The swallowing screenings are for adults ages 55 and older who have difficulty swallowing food, drinks and medications.
The cognitive impairment screenings are for those who have difficulty with memory, concentration, problem-solving or organizing thoughts.
The balance and fall risk assessments are for those ages 55 years and older who have a fear of falling.
The screenings will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, in the hospital’s medical office building, suite 220, 1000 Medical Center Drive, Hardeeville, according to a hospital news release.
Registration is required for the screenings.
