Hey high school seniors, these Hilton Head restaurants are giving you a free meal

A group of Hilton Head restaurants are holding “Grad Nights” for Beaufort County high school seniors who are missing traditional graduation ceremonies during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Coligny Plaza restaurants will give away meals to any graduating seniors from private and public schools in the county during the three-night event.

Restaurants included are:

The Grad nights will be area specific. Here is when each area can get their free meal:

  • Tuesday, May 19 — Beaufort and all other North of the Broad River schools.
  • Wednesday, May 20 — Bluffton and Okatie area schools.
  • Thursday, May 21 — Hilton Head Island schools

Students can get meals starting at 5 p.m. on their specific day. The meals will be offered until the restaurants close each night.

The seniors also are encouraged to bring their “senior signs”. The signs will be displayed on the front lawn of each of the restaurants as the seniors dine.

“We’ve really enjoyed seeing all the class yard signs in our community during the last few months celebrating the graduates lives and we would love to see them lining the Coligny restaurants each night,” said Coligny owner, JR Richardson in a press release.

Students can register for the event by visiting colignyplaza.com/GradNight.
