Real-estate broker to host housing seminar Feb. 27

A housing seminar this weekend will discuss tips for first-time homebuyers to navigate what will likely be the largest single purchase of their life.

The event, hosted by associate real-estate broker Carletha Frazier-Singleton of ERA Evergreen, will be 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 27 at 38 Calhoun St., in Bluffton. It is free and open to the public, whether they are working with a sales professional with ERA Evergreen or not.

Kelley Sullivan, mortgage loan officer at BankSouth Mortgage, will be the guest speaker. Topics will include the homebuying process and how to find the right financing.
