Paula Deen puts Wilmington Island house on market for $12.5 million

Celebrity chef Paula Deen's house on Wilmington Island, Ga., is up for sale -- for $12.5 million, according to the Savannah Morning News.

The property overlooks the Wilmington River in the gated community about 8 miles south of Savannah.

According to the Savannah Morning News: "The property, named Riverbend, boasts a media room complete with a movie screen, projector and soda fountain, study aviary, pool with dive-in movie theater and a large master suite overlooking the river."

The main house spans 14,500 square feet. It also has "two guest cottages, a dock house and a 10,000-square-foot barn with three bedrooms and room for eight cars and two RVs all on a private 5.5 acres," the paper said.
