National report ranks Hilton Head inn in top 5 hotels in US. We’ll tell you where
The U.S. News & World Report named the Sea Pines Resort’s Inn & Club at Harbour Town the fifth best hotel in the country for 2023, up six spots from 2022 when it ranked 12.
The report, released February, bases rankings off:
- the number and prominence of awards and recommendations received from critics
the mean-average class rating for each hotel — a 3.5, 4, 4.5 or 5-star rating
guest rating using data provided by TripAdvisor
The Inn & Club has six critic awards, including from Condé Nast and Forbes; a 5-star class rating; and an average 5/5 rating with 784 reviews on TripAdvisor.
The four hotels ranked above The Inn & Club are:
1) Acqualina Resort & Residences in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida
2) The Canyon Suites at The Phoenician in Scottsdale, Arizona
3) Pendry West Hollywood in West Hollywood, California
4) The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort in Kiawah Island, South Carolina
The hotel has 60 guest rooms that run anywhere from $200 to $600 a night, depending on the room and how far you book in advance, according to their website. Some dates require a three-night minimum stay.
The Inn & Club representatives were not immediately available for comment for this story.
