Neighborhood-by-neighbood: A guide to POA fees in Beaufort County communities

Editors note: This article has been updated to reflect changes in numbers

Following is a list of communities in Beaufort County that may assess Property Owners Association, Homeowners Association and club fees. The fees are, in most cases, a comparison of 2023 annual fees with those charged in 2021, and the percentage increase.

Some fees haven’t been released yet for 2023. The list doesn’t include special assessment fees, such as a limited-time fee to pay for a new clubhouse.

In 2021 the annual fee was $1,945 for homes, plus an annual neighborhood assessment: Golden Bear, $0; The Golf Club, $200; Board Pointe, $1,277; River Club, $1250.
