Westin donates 3,319 pounds of frozen food to food bank

The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort and Spa donated 3,319 pounds of frozen food to Lowcountry Food Bank.

The donation resulted in the creation of 2,766 meals, according to a press release.

Each day this summer, the Lowcountry Food Bank will provide meals to more than 1,700 children in the community. The Lowcountry Food Bank serves the 10 coastal counties of South Carolina and aims to distribute more than 24 million pounds of food each year.
