‘Dare to Dream’ workshop a how-to for entrepreneurs
A free local workshop will combine how-to business tips and marketing ideas in hopes of helping entrepreneurs achieve their dreams.
The Dare to Dream Workshop, sponsored by Low Country SCORE and the Island Packet, will provide hopeful small business owners with planning and financial advice as well as strategies to successfully manage day-to-day operations.
Low Country SCORE serves entrepreneurs, start-ups and small businesses in Beaufort, Jasper, Colleton and Hampton counties, according to the nonprofit organization’s website. “More than 40 retired and active professionals provide free and confidential business counseling, along with a variety of low-cost workshops to boost your business success,” the site says.
Successful entrepreneurs will share their stories, and roundtable discussions will guide participants through idea creation to business formulation, and from attracting customers to making money.
Small business digital marketing will be one focus of the workshop, and a continental breakfast is provided.
The half-day workshop lasts from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Saturday at the Island Packet at 10 Buck Island Rd. in Bluffton.
