Oyster Bar in Bluffton to celebrate opening with food, happy hour

The Oyster Bar in Old Town Bluffton will host a grand opening, and a ribbon cutting by the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce from 4 to 7 p.m. June 7.

There will be complimentary hors d’oeurvres served, including clam chowder shooters, mini crab cakes, pineapple jalapeno coleslaw and cornbread, as well as happy hour drink specials.

Jimmy Seoules, owner of The Oyster Bar, also owns Agave Sidebar, next to the new restaurant in the Calhoun Street Promenade.

The Oyster Bar offers West and East Coast oysters and local oysters when in season. Although oysters are their specialty, they also offer caviar, raw shellfish, local seafood specialties and regional dishes.

The Oyster Bar in Bluffton is open from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
