Street Meet on Hilton Head to hold ribbon-cutting for new dining room
Street Meet American Takeout and Tavern will unveil its recent expansion with a ribbon-cutting from 4 to 6 p.m. May 26.
Owner Carey Basciano remodeled a 1000-square-foot vacant space, formerly a beauty shop, into a new dining room to add to their current bar and restaurant.
The room can hold 75 people for private events and features a red graffiti design covering one of the walls.
The ceremony will feature speeches by Basciano and Hilton Head Mayor David Bennett, as well as refreshments catered by Street Meet. The public is invited to attend.
The restaurant also recently began offering healthy alternatives to their original menu; including lettuce wraps, power bowls with quinoa and grilled vegetables, as well as other low-carb, low-calorie, gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan or paleo options.
